Bishop's Beach Park
Two blocks from Old Town at the end of Beluga Place you will find Bishops Beach. Ample parking, restroom facilities, Beluga Slough trailhead, and beach combing are just the beginning of the fun to be had at Bishops Beach. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and art galleries in Old Town, and to the Islands and Ocean Visitor Center via the Beluga Slough Trail, as well as miles of beautiful beach. The park and associated trails host a variety of public art, including photography, sculptures, poetry, and a large mural. The park offers a covered pavilion with fire pit, BBQ grill, and picnic tables which can be reserved for $25 for 4 hours, or $50 for a full day. Reservations can made at Reserve a Park Pavilion. All city pavilions are free to use unless they are posted as reserved.
The park also offers public restrooms, trash receptacles, and manicured turf.
Please note: there is no camping allowed at Bishops Beach. Also, please try to respect the fact that all property above the 17 foot Mean High Water line is private property that belongs to our coastal residents.
