Karen Hornaday Park (playground & ball fields)
Karen Hornaday Park is located off West Fairview Ave. It is a 40 acre park with a one-of-a-kind playground, two picnic shelters with BBQ grills, ball fields, open space, and natural areas. There are seasonal restroom facilities available. The park is home to the Homer Little League Association, as well as public events such as the Kachemak Bay Highland Games hosted by the Kachemak Bay Scottish Club, and KBBI's Concert on the Lawn.
The pavilions are available to reserve for private functions on the city's Reserve a Park Pavilion page. The cost is $25 for 4 hours or $50 for a full day.
The campground at Karen Hornaday Park is closed until further notice.
