Access Kanopy, a video streaming service for quality, thoughtful entertainment, through our library. All you need is your Homer Public Library Card!
What is Kanopy?
Kanopy is a video streaming service that provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies, documentaries and Kids favorites. They partner with studios like A24, The Criterion Collection, PBS and more.
How can I watch Kanopy?
You can stream Kanopy on any of your favorite devices! Kanopy is accessible via mobile and tablet apps for iPhone and Android. You can also access Kanopy on your Desktop, and SmartTV apps like Roku, Apple TV, and Fire Stick.
Play Credits
Play credits are used to play videos on Kanopy. You will receive 5 play credits per month through the Homer Public Library. Each video will use 1 play credit each with the exception of those in Kanopy Kids. Once you press play on a video and a play credit has been used, you have 72 hours to view it as many times as you like without using another play credit. Your play credits will reset back to 5 on the 1st day of each month.
Kanopy Kids
Kanopy Kids is our collection of movies and shows for kids available in public libraries only. Your public library offers unlimited plays in Kanopy Kids, so your kids are free to explore enriching, educational and entertaining films and TV series. Click here to check it out!
